About You vs You

Ahmed Mohammed life experience has allowed him to come to the realisation that so often as a young person it is very easy to blame others for what’s happening around us and not wanting to take responsibility. Although sometimes we have no control of what might occur to us which may lead to us becoming a victim. Every individual has a story, and this can either make you a hero in your world or a dreamer living a miserable life.

"Being in care has made me who I am today. I’ve been through pain, depression and so often wanted to give up. I was very fortunate to have good people around me who praised me for the effort I put to remain positive, and having resilience in me I was able to maintain a strong mentality. I was able to utilise my support network positively.
The driving force behind my vision is the desire to give back to my community."

You vs You is a positive approach to support the development of all young people. We want to support people to have bright futures, enjoy fulfilling lives and realise their potential through positive relationships and exciting opportunities. By doing this we ensure that our future generation is equipped to create the economic and social changes needed for community development. We can create communities that enable young people to thrive and flourish to be hopeful, focused and successful.
